We work with designers whose minimums are as low as 10, and also work with large-scale brands producing 2,000+ units per production run. Each project is created with the designers and manufacturers working closely together.  We have a great record of meeting deadlines and are very proud of our 100% customer satisfaction rate.

Consulting Services

You have a great idea.  A few sketches, an idea for a brand, a vision of building a company that brings this dream to life and makes the world a better place at the same time.

But maybe you're not sure what steps to take next.  Perhaps the words tech pack and production sample have you scratching your head, or maybe you have a solid fashion background but are struggling to grow an audience of loyal customers and build your brand.

Designing for Business Success
Get help putting together a cohesive collection that makes sense and will make you money.  We'll provide guidance on what preliminary numbers you should be looking at, how to price your garments, and how to design them in a way that will be both cost-effective and will accomplish your vision for the brand.  You will come out of this consulting session with a solid plan for how to put together a collection that makes sense and is both marketable and sellable.

Labels, Labels, Labels

One of the most critical details of your garment production, this step is often overlooked or put off until the last minute.  We'll help you design care tags and branding labels for your full collection, guide you on what you need to know to be legally compliant with your care tags, and then will source these labels for you with our trusted manufacturing partners.  We know the best label makers in the industry who offer low minimums, and we'll make sure your labels are a cohesive part of your branding strategy, not an afterthought!

What are your minimums?

We will work with minimums as low as 10 per style.  We are proud to offer some of the lowest minimum order quantities in the industry, and are passionate about helping new designers start their brands successfully.

Can you work with large brands?

Yes!  Our facility in Fall River is dedicated to large brands looking to scale their production. Please contact sarah@goodclothingcompany.com if you're looking for large-scale production.

Can you give me a price quote by email?

Nope!  We can only give a price quote once we have your pattern, tech pack, and fabric in hand and create a production sample for you.  This is our most frequently asked question.  As is standard in the industry, we can never provide a price quote by phone or email.  If you do not have a pattern we can create a pattern for you, but we won't be able to give you a price quote on your garment until your pattern and production sample is finalized.

How much would you charge to make a T-Shirt, backpack, dress, napkin, etc.?

See above!  We cannot provide price quotes or price ranges until we see your garment and create a production sample for you.

What is your lead time?

Our lead time depends on a lot of factors: the season, what other production orders are in the schedule, what machines your garments require, etc.  Once we receive your deposit, we will put you in the schedule and let you know the estimated completion date.

All I have to start with is a sketch!  Can you work with me?

Yes!  We love working with new designers, and can help turn your dream into a reality by creating professional patterns from your sketch.  Please note that you will need to source your own fabric and notions.

Will you source fabric and notions for me?

No, we do not source fabric and notions for our clients.

I have more questions!  What's a tech pack?  How do I know if my pattern is production ready?  How much money do I need to start my company?

Our hour-long consulting sessions are the perfect fit for people who are new to the industry and full of questions.  Kathryn Hilderbrand has over 30 years of experience in the industry and loves helping new brands get off the ground.  Find out more about our consulting sessions here, or email sarah@goodclothingcompany.com to schedule your session!
