Thank you for checking out our production facility!

Good Clothing Company launched out of a desire to change the face of the US-based manufacturing industry. If you were to visit our Fall River location, you would see a team of talented seamstresses, patternmakers, cutters, sample makers and additional support staff. Since the very beginning, we have made a commitment to pay each and every person on our floor a fair wage and provide safe working conditions.

Thanks to many of our lovely clients and production partners, we have been able to do just that.

Are you interested in development or production with Good Clothing Company?

Working with a US based cut and sew manufacturing facility helps tremendously with communication for your production run and we want this blog post to set the tone. We’re using this article to go over the things you need before you go to production, along with the best way to reach our team!

  • Consultation Preparations:

  • Just prepare your questions and have a desire to learn about what it takes to manufacture your product in the USA!

  • Development Preparations:

  • Patterns: In order for us to make patterns for you we need an understanding of the garment you are trying to construct. We are able to work from sketches, inspiration images and prototypes or samples, but prefer technical flats or tech packs.

  • Samples: Before we begin sampling, we’ll need completed patterns, sample fabric yardage, and all notions (zippers, buttons, elastic, trim etc.).

  • Production Preparations:

  • In order to go to production you must have your fabric, patterns and grading all developed and delivered to us with a paid deposit. Once we have all of this, we can move forward.

  • Best way to reach out to Good Clothing Company: All production applications that we receive through our website go through a form that links directly to our email account. For us, this is great because each inquiry comes in with details in a format that we are trained to review. It establishes an ease for sorting through the many production inquiries that we receive on a daily basis-- which means a quicker response for you.

  • If you are looking to have a consultation: please fill out the production form to the best of your ability.

  • If you are looking for development services: please fill out the production application to the best of your ability.

  • If you are looking for manufacturing services: please fill out the production application to the best of your ability.

  • If you are looking to contact us about press or an unrelated topic: please email info@goodclothingcompany.

As you can see from above, in most cases our production application is the absolute best way to get in touch with us. We have specific employees who receive the form and are trained to respond to all consultation, development and manufacturing related inquiries. Please reserve emails sent to info@goodclothingcompany.com for inquiries that fall outside of these categories.

During certain times of the year, inquiries swell and often reach rates that we are not able to respond to on a daily basis. We suggest reaching out if more than a week has gone by since you have heard from a member of our team.

Once your application has been received, you will hear directly from a staff member who will be available to you via email through all stages of production-- again a perk of US based manufacturing!
